We may also use personal information in a manner that does not identify you specifically nor allow you to be contacted but does identify certain criteria about our Site's users in general (such as we may inform third parties about the number of registered users, number of unique visitors, and the pages most frequently browsed). Who we share your Personal Information with We will NOT sell, trade or rent your name or personal information to anyone else. We DO NOT sell, trade, rent or provide outside access to our mailing list at all. TrustSafeLLC® will not release your personal information to authorities unless required by law, search warrant, court order, subpoena, or fraud investigation. Except as otherwise stated in this policy, TrustSafeLLC® will share your information with third parties only to the extent necessary to provide the services and products requested by you. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. Collection of your Personal Information TrustSafeLLC® only saves such personal information that is necessary for you to access and use our services. This personal information includes, but is not limited to, first and last name, email address, phone number, other payment processing information and document creation data. TrustSafeLLC® will store such personal information until you delete that personal information through your “My Documents” or “My Account” pages on our site, you formally request its deletion or revoke your consent to its storage, or TrustSafeLLC® otherwise deletes that personal information in accordance with its decisions or internal policies. If you use our online notary service, TrustSafeLLC® is required by law to store certain personal information for at least 5 years. We will store an audio and visual recording of your notary session, the identification document and details you provided to verify your identity, the document(s) uploaded for notarization in their original, working and completed form, and all information required for the notary’s journal. The notary from your notary session, as well as other parties according to law or your permissions, may also store and view this information. Document Preparation and Privacy of Information The information you provide when you prepare a document on our website is held strictly confidential. For your protection provide a valid email address that will not block email from TrustSafeLLC®. To change your password, you must use the email address associated with your account. We do not give out passwords over the phone. Advertising We partner with third party ad networks, such as Google Adwords and Bing Ads, to manage our advertising on other sites. Our Ad network partners use cookies and Web beacons to collect non-personally identifiable information about your activities on this and other Web sites to provide you targeted advertising based upon your interests. If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you targeted ads, you may opt-out by using the following links: Google's Opt-out, Bing's Opt-out, or the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-out page. Please note that any opting-out will not opt you out of being served advertising. You will continue to receive generic ads. Third Party Services This site uses the Google Maps API and the terms of Google's Privacy Policy are incorporated by reference into our Privacy Policy. Our Site may use a website recording service which may record how you use our site such as mouse clicks, mouse movements, and page scrolling, but your personal data such as text inputted will not be collected by this service. Data collected by this service is used to improve the usability of our Site. The information collected is stored and is used for aggregated and statistical reporting and is not shared with anybody else. The website recording service is required to maintain the confidentiality of that information. Our site also uses third party services to: Authenticate the identity of users of our online notary service. The authentication service is required to maintain the confidentiality of any user information shared with them. Provide the Ask a Lawyer service. The information you provide to obtain a legal consultation is collected directly by Martindale-Nolo, who will deal with your information in accordance with their Privacy Policy. Provide incorporation services. Information you provide to complete a business incorporation is shared with Northwest Registered Agent, who will deal with your information in accordance with their Privacy Policy. Activities not covered by this Privacy Policy are: Personal information that may be collected or used by other businesses when you click on third-party links found on our website or use social media widgets that we provide.  You can refer to the privacy policy of third-party websites and services for information about their privacy practices. Personal information collected and used in connection with TrustSafe LLC®’s employment activities, including activities related to jobs advertised on the career page. Sensitive Information: Examples of the types of sensitive information that TrustSafe LLC® may collect includes dates of birth, driver’s license &/or state identification data, dates of death, and usernames & passwords for accounts connected to TrustSafe LLC®.com. Characteristics protected under some laws: Examples of the types of characteristics that TrustSafe LLC® may collect include age, citizenship, family and lineage.  TrustSafe LLC® does not use this type of information to analyze your health, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Commercial information: Examples of the types of commercial information that TrustSafe LLC® may collect includes records of business and other property owned, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered from TrustSafe LLC® or our partners, and other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies. Where We Collect Personal Information     In this section of the Privacy Policy, we explain where and how we collect personal information. Customers: Much of the personal information that TrustSafe LLC® collects comes directly or indirectly from our customers and prospective customers.  Information that is collected directly from you is information that you provide when you complete online data fields, upload a document, use a chat feature, or speak to us on the phone.  We may also collect information indirectly about you when you interact with our website, using cookies and other tracking technologies. Related Parties & Professionals (including attorneys and Tax Experts): We may collect information about you from someone you know.  For example, attorney’s and/or employee thereof may provide information about you on your behalf pursuant to your professional and/or retained relationship.  We may also receive information about you from other professionals with whom you may have contracted to use our products and services. TrustSafe LLC® does not intend to collect any information from attorneys where the collection would result in a waiver of the attorney-client privilege.  With your consent, and as described in our Privacy Policy we may also receive information about you from others. Business Partners: We may receive information about you from our Business Partners.  As used in this Privacy Policy, Business Partners means entities that TrustSafe LLC® has contracted with to engage in cross-promotional or product integration activities.  An example of the type of information that we may receive from our business partners is information about products/services you purchased from them. Affiliates and Subsidiaries: We may receive information about you from our affiliates and subsidiaries.  For example, if we acquire an ownership interest and/or affiliation in another company/businesss/firm, we may receive information about you as part of that acquisition if you have previously done business with them. Operational Purposes: We use personal information for operational purposes, and the operational purposes of our service providers, business partners, affiliates, and subsidiaries.  For instance, TrustSafe LLC® may use the information to maintain our website and other infrastructure, training, quality assurance, for conducting surveys, to promote our brand, and to use in connection with our relationships with service providers and business partners. Business Transfers: If TrustSafe LLC® undertakes or is involved in any merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or insolvency event, then we may sell, transfer, or share some or all of our assets, including information related to customers in connection with the transaction or in contemplation of the transaction (such as conducting due diligence).  If such an event occurs, your information may be treated like any other TrustSafe LLC® asset and sold, transferred, or shared with third parties, or used in ways not contemplated or permitted under this Privacy Policy.  In this case, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.  How We Disclose Personal Information In this section of the Privacy Policy, we explain to whom we disclose personal information and under what circumstances we may make a disclosure. Service Providers: We may share personal information with our service providers who assist us with running our business.  These companies are not authorized to use the information we share with them for any purpose other than providing services to TrustSafe LLC® or to you. Businesses Providing Services: TrustSafe LLC® may disclose personal information with other businesses in order to provide you with products and services that you have purchased from TrustSafe LLC®.  Personal information disclosed to other businesses will be subject to those third parties’ privacy practices.  For instance, we may use FedEx, the United States Postal Service, or other shipping providers when necessary to deliver physical products you have purchased.  Similarly, we may use various payment platforms such as  WorldPay, Adyen, or Stripe for purposes of processing payments or providing identity verification services.  In doing so, these companies may collect and process personal information for their own uses, including improving its services and for fraud detection and prevention. Professionals (including attorneys, Tax and Financial Experts): We may share personal information with authorized professionals, or others with whom customers have provided account/portal access mpermission/rights.  Business Partners: TrustSafe LLC® may share personal information with business partners.  When we share personal information with business partners, it will generally be subject to their privacy policy.  We share information with business partners in the following circumstances: If you express interest in an offer presented to you either by TrustSafe LLC® on behalf of a business partner or by a business partner on behalf of TrustSafe LLC®, you are directing TrustSafe LLC® to provide information about you to that business partner. If you purchase a TrustSafe LLC® product that is bundled with a product offered by one of our business partners, we will share information about you with that business partner. Parties Related to You:  We may provide information about you to someone you know or that you have connected with through our platform.  For instance, we may provide information regarding you that is publicly searchable, or with your authorized contacts, or as a result of your death (subject to proof).    Government Entities: TrustSafe LLC® may share information about customers with government entities to fulfill the products purchased by our customers.  Certain personal information and/or documents acquired through our services after the death of a customer may become public record when they are purchased documents and filed with federal or a state government, or with a court.  For example when litigation requires a copy of a Wills &/or Trust to be filed with the court. Public Disclosures: TrustSafe LLC® may publicly disclose personal information in limited circumstances. We may display testimonials and reviews received through email surveys on our website or other marketing or that are posted to publicly available websites. When you post content in any forum or comment area on our website, these posts may be publicly available.  You should use caution when deciding whether to disclose your personal information in public areas of our website. When we collect publicly available information, we may share that information on our website.  Required by Law: TrustSafe LLC® may disclose personal information as required by law, such as in response to a subpoena or a lawful request by a public authority, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements, or similar legal processes.  We may also disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a legitimate request from a government entity. Parties Related to TrustSafe LLC®: TrustSafe LLC® may disclose personal information with businesses controlling, controlled by, or under common control with TrustSafe LLC®.  If TrustSafe LLC® is merged, acquired, or sold, or if some or all of our assets or equity are transferred, we may disclose or transfer consumer data in connection with the associated transactions. How Long We Retain Your Personal Information TrustSafe LLC® retains your personal information for at least as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected the data, to provide you with services and products, to comply with our data retention obligations, and to successfully run our business. Performance and Functionality Cookies: We use Cookies to provide enhanced functionality on our website and app, to personalize your experience, to collect information for analytical purposes to help us improve and develop products, and to help us understand how you are engaging with our products.  If you reject these Cookies, the functionality of our website may be impacted, including in ways that may limit your use of our products and services.   User and Authorized Contact Access to Order Information.  TrustSafe LLC® will give you, or anyone listed as an authorized contact for your account, information about your order.  This may include information about the nature and status of your order, the information you provided to process your order, payment information, and contact information.  If you want someone to have access to your order, you must list them as an authorized contact, or they may not obtain such information.  You can confirm who is listed as an authorized contact for your account, add new authorized contacts, or remove authorized contacts by signing into your TrustSafe LLC® account and navigating to the "authorized contacts" section.  We may send a confirmation email to your authorized contact(s) alerting them that they have been added as an authorized contact.  For some products, we may provide information about your order to other individuals named in the order, such as executors named in a last will, successor trustees, or additional named individuals authorized by you.  User Access to and Ability to Update Personal Information Online.  You may visit your personal account profile at any time by signing in to your account at www.trustsafellc.com.  On your account, you may: (i) review and update basic information about yourself, (ii) review and update additional information, and (iii) begin new orders.  TrustSafe LLC®’s Security and Identity Verification Practices TrustSafe LLC® is committed to protecting the personal information that we collect and ensuring our products and services are provided in a secure manner.  We have implemented security measures designed to protect the personal information that we maintain.  This includes implementing physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to secure the information we collect, but by also limiting the amount and type of information we collect. We do not collect, store nor maintain social security numbers, nor credit card information. We used double back-up protocol to ensure that data is never lost, and we regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. Regardless of the measures and efforts that TrustSafe LLC® takes to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute protection and security of your personal information.  For instance, when we transmit documents to you via mail delivery services or electronically, there remains the possibility that this information may be misdirected, misdelivered, or intercepted.  We encourage you to take precautions in protecting the information that you share with TrustSafe LLC®.  For example, we encourage you to set strong passwords on your account and avoid sharing your password with anyone.  Where available, we encourage, and may at times require, you to utilize multi-factor authentication to further ensure access to your account is restricted. If you believe that someone has accessed your personal information or that your personal information has been misused, please let us know immediately.. If you are a U.S. resident of a state with a comprehensive privacy law, this section provides information regarding your rights, and TrustSafe LLC®’s responsibilities, regarding your personal information.  Your Rights Certain states have privacy laws that provide consumers with rights regarding their personal information, such as the right to request: Specific information about what information TrustSafe LLC® has collected about you, A copy of your personal information, Corrections to inaccuracies in the personal information TrustSafe LLC® maintains about you, and The deletion of your personal information. These rights are not absolute, and in some circumstances TrustSafe LLC® may not satisfy your request.  For example, if we are unable to verify your identity or if your request impacts other people’s privacy rights, we may deny your request to exercise these rights.  We may also deny your request when TrustSafe LLC® has the legal right to do so, such as when we have an ongoing business relationship with you, an ongoing need to use the information for purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or we are legally required to retain your personal information.  If TrustSafe LLC® denies your request to exercise your privacy rights, we will tell you why we are denying the request and provide you with information about how to appeal this decision. If you choose to exercise your privacy rights, we will not charge you different prices or provide a different quality of services unless those differences are related to your personal information. How to Submit a Request for Access, Correction, or Deletion of Personal Information If you would like to submit a request about your personal information, we encourage you to do so by emailing us at info@trustsafe.us or by calling us at (623) 226-7335. After we receive your request, we will undertake to verify your email address and may ask you to provide additional information to verify your identity.  TrustSafe LLC® will attempt to verify your identity by asking for information that correlates with what we have previously collected about you.  If this is not possible, TrustSafe LLC® may request you submit additional information for verification, such as may be contained within your profile and/or TrustSafe LLC® customer portal. How to Appeal a Denial of a Request for Access, Correction, or Deletion of Personal Information If TrustSafe LLC® denies a request for personal information, you may submit an appeal of the decision by submitting a written request to Christine Alleman c/o TrustSafe LLC® at 929 W.
